Młoda generacja polskiego reggae ma się dobrze.
Boleo & Follow The Riddim to formacja założona przez wokalistę Piotra „Boleo” Jaworskiego oraz perkusistę Kubę Skibińskiego w 2017 roku. Jej stały skład uformował się na przełomie pierwszych nagrań na debiutancki album „Follow The Riddim”, który ukazał się wiosną 2019 roku. Od tego czasu zespół wspólnie pracuje nad nowym materiałem inspirując się korzenną muzyką jamajską roots reggae, dodając pierwiastek nowoczesnego brzmienia oraz własnego spojrzenia. W składzie muzycy z dużym bagażem doświadczeń na scenie. Jak mówią, muzyka reggae jest mocnym fundamentem, a treść reggae murem, który na fundamencie stoi. “Dlatego każdy z tych aspektów staramy się zrealizować jak najlepiej potrafimy” – mówią. Teksty, których autorami są wokaliści Piotrek i Wiktor inspirowane są otaczającą rzeczywistością, problemami ludzi i świata. Przemycają uniwersalne ludzkie wartości, dodając przy tym otuchy i wiary w lepsze jutro. Jak sami autorzy mówią: „Są to również wskazówki dla nas samych, abyśmy pamiętali co jest w życiu ważne, kiedy znajdziemy się w trudnej sytuacji czy na niewłaściwej ścieżce, lub po prostu zapomnimy.”
W 2021 roku Boleo & Follow The Riddim zdobyli pierwsze miejsce w konkursie Czwórka Reggae Contest na Ostróda Reggae Festiwal. Rok później pojawiają się na tym samym festiwalu z premierą drugiego krążka pt. „Iskra”. Zespół czynnie koncertuje na festiwalowych oraz klubowych scenach w kraju. W ubiegłym roku rozpoczęli pracę nad rejestracją nowych utworów na kolejny album.

The young generation of Polish reggae is doing well.
Boleo & Follow The Riddim is a band founded by vocalist Piotr „Boleo” Jaworski and drummer Kuba Skibiński in 2017. Its permanent line-up was formed during first recording sessions for the debut album „Follow The Riddim”, released in the spring of 2019. Since then the band has been working together on new material, inspired by Jamaican roots reggae music, adding an element of modern sound and their own perspective. The line-up includes musicians with a lot of experience on stage. As they say, reggae music is a strong foundation, and the message of reggae is a wall that stands on the foundation. „That is why we try to implement each of these aspects as best we can,” they say. The lyrics, written by vocalists Piotrek and Wiktor, are inspired by the surrounding reality, the problems of people and the world. They smuggle in universal human values, while also giving encouragement and faith in a better tomorrow. As the authors themselves say: „These are also tips for ourselves, so that we remember what is important in life when we find ourselves in a difficult situation or on the wrong path, or we simply forget.” In 2021, Boleo & Follow The Riddim won first place in the Czwórka Reggae Contest at the Ostróda Reggae Festival. A year later, they appear at the same event premiering their second album entitled „Iskra”. The band actively performs on festival and club stages in the country. Last year, they began working on recording new songs for their next album.
