Ammoye (Kanada/Jamajka)

Ammoye to wyjątkowa, wielowymiarowa wokalistka z Toronto. Była siedmiokrotnie nominowana do prestiżowej nagrody JUNO. Jest główną przedstawicielką gatunku w kraju i robi furorę na arenie międzynarodowej. Ammoye emanuje budującymi przesłaniami miłości, jedności i sprawiedliwości. Her live performances are energetic and unforgettable, drawing audiences in from the first note. With empowering, uplifting, and conscious lyrics, her music inspires and connects people worldwide. Samora has firmly established herself as a rising force in the international reggae scene.

Eight years after Samora herself was part of the wonderful Female Reggae Voices concert series, she returns in 2026 with a special vision: for an exclusive summer mini tour, she brings together some of her international co–Reggae Queens to celebrate musical diversity, female strength, and the unifying power of Reggae. As special guests, Samora welcomes a few outstanding singers with whom she has each recorded a collaboration track for her current album „Elevation”. Yeza from Jamaica, Zoe Mazah from Germany, and Ammoye from Canada. Each collaboration represents a distinct stylistic facet of Reggae music — ranging from Dancehall to Ska to Roots Reggae. With Yeza, Samora recorded the high-energy dancehall track „Mind No More”; with Ammoye the Ska-infused „More Reggae (Funk It Up)”; and together with Zoe Mazah the powerful Reggae anthem „Queens”.

Where Samora once stood on stage in 2018 as a guest of Female Reggae Voices, experiencing a decisive surge in her own career, she now takes on the role of host — while remaining the driving force of the show. Samora not only carries a major part of the concert herself but also opens the stage to her co–Reggae Queens, giving them space to let their voices resonate far beyond familiar scenes.

In a festival landscape that remains largely male-dominated, the Female Reggae Voices concept makes a clear statement: Reggae by women deserves to be more visible, more audible, and a natural, integral part of the global music scene.

Ammoye is a unique multidimensional vocalist residing in Toronto, Canada. This 7x JUNO Award nominee is at the forefront of the genre domestically and making waves internationally. Ammoye radiates uplifting messages of love, unity, and social justice. Her songs speak to themes of compassion, forgiveness, empowerment, and the importance of standing up for what’s right.

Zoe Mazah (Germany/Liberia)
