W dziedzinie dancehall – zdecydowanie The Strongest Eastern Spirit!
Splendid Sound to powstały w 2004 r. prężnie działający i wciąż rosnący w siłę wrocławski kolektyw Djski skupiający się przede wszystkim na graniu współczesnej muzyki z Karaibów i Afrki. W sład ekipy wchodzą Matys, Zilla, Szczepan, Margos i Kotune – pięciu pasjonatów muzyki jamajskiej, połączonych chęcią dzielenia się z publiką tą nieskrępowaną i nieograniczoną energią, która powstaje podczas imprez. Czerpiąc garściami z jamajskich tradycji soundsystemowych, sety Splendid dostarczają przede wszystkim rozrywki i powodów do tańca. Nie może więc zabraknąć królujących na karaibskich i afrykańskich listach przebojów artystów, najnowszych kawałków oraz pokaźnej amunicji dubplate’ów. Wszystko to podane przy współpracy selektora i MC.
Poza regularnymi imprezami, Splendid Sound jest znany przede wszystkim z soundclashów, czyli muzycznych bitew sound systemów. Od debiutu clashowego w 2009 roku, uzbierali już 13 okazałych trofeów, będąc obecnie jedyną ekipą ze wschodniej Europy, która jest w stanie konkurować na poważnym poziomie za granicą.
Przez lata działalności zagrali niezliczoną ilość imprez w Polsce; byli zapraszani do Czech, Norwegii, Austrii, Niemiec, Włoch, Szwajcarii, Słowacji, Portugalii, Szwecji, Bułgarii i USA oraz organizowali imprezy najważniejszych ekip z całej Europy. Byli też przez wiele lat odpowiedzialni za organizację sceny sound systemowej na festiwalu Regałowisko w Bielawie.

In the field of dancehall – definitely The Strongest Eastern Spirit!
Splendid Sound is a dynamic and still growing Wrocław DJ collective founded in 2004, focusing primarily on playing contemporary music from the Caribbean and Africa. The crew consists of Matys, Zilla, Szczepan, Margos and Kotune – five Jamaican music enthusiasts, united by the desire to share with the audience the unfettered and limitless energy that grows during parties. Drawing heavily on Jamaican sound system traditions, Splendid sets provide entertainment and a good reason to dance. Therefore, there can be no shortage of artists reigning on the Caribbean and African charts, the latest tracks and a large ammunition of dubplates. All of this is served in close cooperation between the selector and MC.
Apart from regular events, Splendid Sound is known primarily for soundclashes, or musical battles of sound systems. Since their clash debut in 2009, they have already collected 13 impressive trophies, being currently the only crew from Eastern Europe that is able to compete at a serious level abroad.
Over the years of their activity, they have played countless events in Poland; they have been invited to the Czech Republic, Norway, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, Portugal, Sweden, Bulgaria and the USA, and have organised events for the most important bands from all over Europe. They were also responsible for organising the sound system stage at the Regałowisko festival in Bielawa for many years.
