This is reggae from the heart of the Swietokrzyskie Mountains. They will open this year’s festival as the recent winners of the “Reggae Debuts” contest at Reggaeland Festival.
The band comprises eight musicians. The songwriter and vocalist is Kamil Sewerzyński, nominated for the Music Prize of the Polish National Radio in Kielce in the “Vocalist of 2014” category. During two years of existence, the band performed more than 100 shows. Wolni Ludzie (“Free People”) has been recognized by the jury of 9th edition of „Must be the Music” TV talent show. In 2016 the band was also awarded the „Musical Microphone” by the Polish National Radio Kielce as “the band of the year”. Wolni Ludzie released self-titled debut album in 2015. Having freshly won “Reggae Debuts” competition at Reggaeland 2016, they will open Ostróda Reggae Festival as the winners from Płock.
