Euphoric journey through time, space and bass – let’s welcome the Leeds rockers, back in Ostróda after 6 years!
Gentleman’s Dub Club is a nine-piece band formed in Leeds in early 2006. With a style based in dub, ska and roots reggae, GDC have burst onto the UK circuit, rocking gigs and festivals up and down the country with their super high energy show. Combining tight grooves and a heavyweight sound, Gentleman’s Dub Club bring the party to crowds of all ages hungry for a dance floor workout, with their gigs often ending in a frenzied mosh pit reminiscent of a mid 80’s ska night. Live effects and mixing make for a crystal clear sound, and the band’s larger than life stage presence makes for a mesmerising experience.
The GDC have supported such acts as Madness, Jerry Dammers (The Specials), Roots Manuva, The Streets, The Wailers, Zion Train, Foreign Beggars Live Band and countless more. They have appeared at Glastonbury, Latitude Festival, Outlook Festival, Secret Garden Party, Summerjam. 2017 saw them releasing acclaimed album project with The Nextmen, “Pound for Pound”, including Joe Dukie (Fat Freddy’s Drop), Chali 2na (Jurassic 5), Kiko Bun, and Hollie Cook). Now Gentleman’s Dub Club return with their 5th hotly anticipated album, “Lost in Space”. True connoisseurs of blending influences from genres such as dub, reggae, ska, bass culture, jazz, and everything in between, the band has adopted a futuristic tone as they continue their mission to discover the ultimate bassline. The album is promoted with first singles, “Stardust” and “Turning Back” feat. Million Stylez, while the album will be released in January 2019 on Easy Star Records.
“Stardust rushing through my bloodstream / I wanna get higher”. Do you wanna get higher? Of course it is possible with GDC!
